Worksite Location:
Andover, Massachusetts
Shift Details:
Day shift with some flexibility to accommodate program needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment and behavioral plans based on trauma-informed and person-centered care principles
- Conduct clinical assessments, including mental status exams, risk analyses, and behavioral evaluations, especially during crisis situations
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation such as safety plans, behavioral assessments, and progress notes
- Provide crisis intervention and support during psychiatric or behavioral emergencies with calm, analytical response
- Educate and train team members on treatment strategies, trauma-informed practices, and behavioral support techniques
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, training sessions, and compliance reviews aligned with DDS and Human Rights regulations
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Mental Health or related field
- Licensure as an LMHC, LICSW, or BCBA required
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with mental health and developmental disabilities populations
- Demonstrated knowledge of behavioral support planning and intervention strategies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, Residents, and families
- Flexible, positive, and solutions-oriented mindset committed to team success
- Valid driver’s license, with satisfactory CORI and DDS background checks
- Willingness to work flexible hours to meet residential program needs
Physical & Environmental Demands:
- Frequent walking and moderate standing, with the ability to respond calmly during high-stress or crisis situations
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment requiring acute clinical judgment
- Ability to intervene effectively in medical, psychiatric, or behavioral emergencies
