Role Summary Provide rapid, high-quality vehicle emissions inspections and expert customer care, ensuring every guest receives timely service in a clean, professional, and safety-conscious atmosphere.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities To succeed in this role, you will perform a variety of technical and guest-facing tasks, including:
- Inspection & Compliance: Perform emissions inspections in strict accordance with County and State requirements, ensuring 100% accuracy in data entry and testing protocols.
- Service Coordination: Proactively greet guests, initiate service requests via our digital point-of-sale system, and process final sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Safety & Standards: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; follow all shop safety protocols to protect yourself, your team, and the customers.
- Operational Support: Assist with facility maintenance, inventory organization, and general shop cleanliness to ensure a premium customer experience.
Qualifications & Skills
- Certification: Valid Utah County Emissions Inspection Certification (Required).
- Customer Service: Proven ability to communicate effectively and maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech Savvy: Basic proficiency with computers and digital tablet interfaces for data entry.
- Financial Literacy: Experience with cash handling and processing credit card transactions.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Comfortable working in an open-bay environment with exposure to outside weather conditions.
- High situational awareness while working in and around moving vehicles.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend frequently throughout a full shift.
