About the Role
Fast-Fix Jewelry & Watch Repair is seeking an experienced Bench Jeweler to join our team in a retail setting with on-site jewelry repair. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, pays close attention to detail, and enjoys helping customers restore and maintain their jewelry.
Responsibilities
- Perform jewelry repairs, including ring sizing, stone setting, prong repair, shank repair, and chain repair.
- Use a laser welder for precise repairs and restoration.
- Work with precious metals, including platinum, yellow gold, white gold, and sterling silver.
- Clean, polish, and finish jewelry to a high standard.
- Assist with custom jewelry projects and CAD design.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service and explain repair options clearly.
- Maintain an organized workspace and handle customers’ jewelry with care.
Qualifications
- Previous professional experience in bench jewelry repair or jewelry making.
- Experience using a laser welder.
- Knowledge of gemstones, precious metals, and appropriate repair techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Hiring Requirements
- A bench test is required to demonstrate repair skills.
- A background check is required.
