Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Fashion Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for trend, color, and silhouette, along with a deep understanding of the Missy contemporary customer. This role requires creativity, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify seasonal trends, fabrics, trims, and color palettes relevant to the Missy contemporary market
Develop original design concepts aligned with brand direction and customer needs
Create detailed sketches and technical flats using Adobe Illustrator
Build cohesive seasonal collections from initial concept to final production
Collaborate with merchandising, production, and sales teams to ensure commercial viability
Attend fittings and oversee sample development, ensuring proper fit and quality
Maintain organized tech packs and design documentation
Work closely with overseas and domestic vendors to execute designs accurately
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field
3–7 years of experience in Missy or contemporary apparel design
Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrication, and fit
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator required)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Highly organized with keen attention to detail
