Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Packaging Associate / General Laborer to join our team. This individual will play a key role in supporting our production and shipping operations. Additionally, the role will require occasional support in other departments as needed. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
Packaging:
- Pack products according to company standards and customer specifications
- Verify product quantities and inspect for defects or damage
- Label packages clearly and accurately
- Use packing materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized packing area
- Work with the shipping department to meet daily and weekly fulfillment goals
- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times
- Report inventory shortages or packaging issues to supervisors
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a production or labor-intensive environment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials as needed (up to 50 lbs. at times).
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to assist in the retail store when necessary.
Additional Duties:
- Assist with other tasks as required to support the production team and retail operations.
- Ensure that all work is completed efficiently and in compliance with safety standards.
