Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor in Boise, ID. The role involves overseeing asbestos removal projects, ensuring safety protocols and regulations are adhered to, managing project teams, and maintaining a clean and secure work environment. Responsibilities also include coordinating with clients and stakeholders, preparing project reports, and ensuring timely completion of projects in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Asbestos Removal, including inspection, abatement, and decontamination procedures
- Leadership and supervisory skills to manage teams and ensure project safety and compliance
- Knowledge of safety protocols, regulations, and documentation requirements in environmental remediation
- Physical ability to handle the demands of on-site work, including lifting, carrying, and wearing protective equipment
- Organizational skills for planning and coordinating multiple projects efficiently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members effectively
- Valid certifications for asbestos removal and supervisor responsibilities in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in environmental safety are advantageous
