As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Farsight AI, you’ll lead the design, implementation, and management of infrastructure critical to delivering our cutting-edge AI products. Your work directly impacts premier financial institutions, enabling scalable, reliable, and secure deployments.

Job Description
As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Farsight AI, you’ll lead the design, implementation, and management of infrastructure critical to delivering our cutting-edge AI products. Your work directly impacts premier financial institutions, enabling scalable, reliable, and secure deployments.
You will:
- High Priority: Contribute to developing repeatable processes and infrastructure solutions for secure, multi-tenant, and customer VPC deployments.
- Architect, deploy, and manage robust cloud infrastructure to support advanced generative AI workloads at scale.
- Streamline and optimize our CI/CD platform to maintain rapid and reliable deployments.
- Design and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions (AWS CDK, CloudFormation) for repeatable and scalable deployments.
- Develop comprehensive monitoring, logging, and observability strategies to maintain high system availability.
- Ensure infrastructure adheres to rigorous security standards and compliance requirements.
- Manage and orchestrate large-scale microservice architectures and their associated communication protocols
- Proactively identify areas for infrastructure improvements, including efficiency, cost optimization, and performance enhancements.
- Experience with AWS and hybrid deployments within regulated industries.
- 4 years experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
- Extensive experience with AWS services (ECS, EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, CloudWatch, CloudFront, RDS, IAM, SSM).
- Proven expertise in containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, gRPC).
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipeline creation and management (AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Strong proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Experience managing robust observability tools and logging frameworks.
- Solid understanding of cloud security practices and compliance frameworks (SOC2, GDPR, ISO).
- Ability to collaborate closely with developers to ensure infrastructure aligns with product requirements.
- Independent problem-solver, motivated to improve efficiency and solve complex infrastructure challenges.
- GCP and Azure experience is a plus.
- Prior experience deploying infrastructure for large-scale generative AI or machine learning applications.
- Experience deploying into the enterprise using effective change control processes
- Familiarity with Azure and/or GCP in addition to AWS.
- Previous role as infrastructure lead or first infrastructure hire in a rapidly scaling startup.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Terraform Certified, or Kubernetes Certified Administrator.
- Demonstrated experience optimizing cloud infrastructure for cost-efficiency and performance.
- Contributions to open-source infrastructure or DevOps projects.
- Salary range: $140,000 to $180,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
