As a member of Farrell Roofing’s driving team, you are very important to the success of our company. Our drivers provide our field employees with the materials that they need to finish roofing projects. Without our drivers, we can not bid or complete roofing projects. Successful occupants of this role will be consistent and reliable. They will be good teammates and will be dedicated to doing their best work at all times.

Your Role

- Load and unload trucks.
- Maintain Daily Log for CDL Driver.
- Deliver materials to job sites.
- Load and unload materials between yard and job site.
- Transport flatbeds and dump trailers to and from jobsite(s).
- Help coordinate the movement of products in the warehouse/yard.
- Ensure shortages, damages and accidents are reported to the Supervisor immediately.
- Complete material transfer orders.
- Be accurate and careful handling products with lifts to insure safe and damage free parts.
- Maintain a good housekeeping standard neatness and cleanliness in areas of responsibility, enabling the warehouse- yard to maintain a safe and efficient work-place.
- Performs related duties as assigned by supervision.
- Reliable and consistent in their work performance
- Is detail -oriented with an aptitude for doing things right the first time
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least one year of construction related warehouse/yard and driving
- Forklift certification
- CDL A License
- Small engine mechanical knowledge desirable

- The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
- The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and high, precarious places.
- The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Be physically able to perform the day to day responsibilities of the role, which include a lot of walking and sitting.
- Must be able to tilt material or equipment, stack material as needed, and roll materials on a hand truck to a designated area and place on the floor in the trailer without harm to themselves or material or equipment. Must be able to lift material and equipment above their head to stack in trailers, etc.
- Must be physically able to mount and dismount lifts, trucks, or tractors numerous times throughout the day
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be eligible for employment in the United States
- Must have a valid, clean CDL license
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.
