Overview:
Farrel Corporation is seeking an MRP Controller to manage material planning, inventory accuracy, and production order readiness in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role supports Production Planning and works closely with Procurement, Engineering, and Operations to ensure materials are available on time and production schedules stay on track.
Key Responsibilities
- Run and manage MRP to support production schedules.
- Review and resolve MRP exceptions and material shortages.
- Maintain accurate Bills of Material (BOMs) and process ECNs/BCNs.
- Create, release, and track production orders in SAP.
- Support planners with schedule updates and constraint visibility.
- Conduct inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing, and Engineering on material issues.
- Generate reports on material status, work orders, and inventory health.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years in MRP, production planning, or materials control.
- SAP experience required (MD04/MD05/COHV/etc.).
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- Knowledge of BOMs, routings, and manufacturing processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred.
- Aerospace or heavy manufacturing experience is a plus.
