Job Summary
Farnsworth Builders, Inc. is seeking an experienced High-End Residential Construction Superintendent to oversee luxury custom home projects in Los Angeles.
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands residential construction from the ground up, values quality craftsmanship, and can keep a jobsite organized, clean, and moving forward. We're looking for practical experience and problem-solving ability — not paperwork for the sake of paperwork.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily jobsite operations on high-end custom residential projects
- Maintain quality control and attention to detail throughout all phases of construction
- Read and interpret plans, details, and specifications
- Coordinate day-to-day site activity with the internal project team
- Identify issues early and work toward practical solutions
- Keep the jobsite clean, safe, and organized
- Track progress and communicate clearly on schedule and next steps
- Ensure work is completed to a high standard of craftsmanship
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a superintendent or lead builder on high-end residential projects
- Hands-on experience across multiple trades (framing, finish carpentry, electrical, plumbing, tile, drywall)
- Strong understanding of residential construction sequencing
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and details
- Strong communicator with a solution-oriented mindset
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
