Full job description
We are looking for a long term teacher for our after school program. An afterschool preschool teacher must have a great love and patience for children agers 1-4.
- Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
- Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
- Read, and singing to kids
- Cleaning up at the end of the day.
- Diaper changers and assist children if and when they need to use the bathroom
- Organize snack and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
- Communicate with parents at pick up times
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
- Assist with waking up kids from nap time.
- Assisting other teacher with conducting small group activities with the ki
Schedule:
- Flexible with days and hours but must be able to close at 6 pm.
