Job Summary
Assist and support the Retail Manager in the successful operation of the Bell and Evans Retail Outlet Store.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following; other duties may be assigned
- Greet and receive customers in a courteous manner as they enter the store
- Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires
- Display merchandise within the store in a manner that would attract customers
- Maintain the order and cleanliness of the store at all times
- Handle all merchandise in safe and secure manner
- Assist customers in payment processes via cash, credit, and/or debit transactions
- Resolve and handle customer issues in an effective manner
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
- Log and maintain records of sales and inventory
Qualifications: (Due to the high volume of applicants, only those who meet the minimum qualifications will be selected for interviews):
- Possess the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Strong understanding of basic mathematics
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must have reliable transportation
- Experience within a retail environment is preferred but not required

High school diploma or GED equivalent; or three years of experience and/or training; or a combination equivalent of education and experience.
