Business Systems Analyst

FMH is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to coordinate the effective use and adoption of business technology by monitoring, evaluating, and optimizing software capabilities across the organization. This individual partners cross-functionally to improve system utilization, reduce inefficiencies and enhance visibility into usage and licensing, ensuring maximum value from business systems.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience: At least three to seven years evaluating business systems or relevant experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management or related degree (Associate’s degree required).
- Skills: Experience evaluating Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms and vendors desired. Solid understanding of general business processes and workflows. Ability to translate technical features into business value. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with emerging AI technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partners with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand usage of current technology and systems utilization across the organization.
- Evaluates new system features and enhancements for alignment with business processes; develop clear, business-friendly analyses and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Collaborates with Business Solutions and stakeholders to identify functional gaps, overlaps, and redundancies when evaluating new or existing software solutions.
- Analyzes system usage data and user feedback to identify trends, optimization opportunities, and areas for improved efficiency.
- Develops and maintains high-level visibility into licensing usage and opportunities. Recommends strategies for reducing licensing waste and/or underutilization.
- Facilitates requirements gathering sessions to document business needs and translate them into functional system requirements.
- Collaborates across teams to improve workflows and system integration.
