Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Compliance Officer located in Lakewood, CA. The Compliance Officer will oversee and manage regulatory compliance programs, ensuring adherence to internal policies, state and federal laws. Key responsibilities include monitoring and implementing compliance systems, conducting risk assessments, reviewing and updating policies, and providing guidance to staff on compliance matters. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, the Compliance Officer will work to ensure that all activities align with banking regulations and best practices.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills for assessing risks and implementing appropriate responses
- Excellent Communication Skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, leadership, and regulators
- Knowledge or experience in Finance and banking operations, including regulatory frameworks and auditing processes
- Proven ability to work in an on-site team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or equivalent are preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
