Requirements
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Insurance license required (licensing assistance available)
- Working knowledge of the insurance industry, insurance products, risk‑management profiles, and relevant state and federal regulations
- Experience with accounting and/or sales lead software is a plus
- Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal, communication, customer service, and analytical skills required
Responsibilities
- Devote an exceptional level of personal attention when implementing effective sales strategies designed to maintain and grow a long‑term customer base
- Listen attentively to new and prospective clients, assess their needs and financial situations, and recommend plan options tailored to their unique insurance requirements
- Stay current on insurance industry protocols and policy updates to ensure all policy requirements are met, and monitor claims to support mutual satisfaction
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping systems, sales databases, and customer records to report progress toward monthly initiatives to stakeholders
- Collaborate with policyholders to develop and deliver risk‑management strategies aligned with their individual profile
