Requirements
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Insurance license required (licensing assistance available)
- Working knowledge of the insurance industry, insurance products, risk management profiles, and applicable state and federal regulations
- Experience with accounting and/or sales lead software is a plus
- Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal, communication, customer service, and analytical skills required
Responsibilities
- Deliver a high level of personalized attention while executing targeted sales strategies designed to strengthen and expand long term customer relationships.
- Listen closely to new and potential clients, evaluate their needs and financial circumstances, and present plan options tailored to their specific insurance requirements.
- Stay informed on insurance industry protocols and policy updates to ensure all policy requirements are met, and monitor claims to support mutual satisfaction
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping systems, sales databases, and customer records to report progress toward monthly initiatives to stakeholders
- Work closely with policyholders to create and implement risk management strategies tailored to their individual needs and profiles.
