An CSSR provides first class customer service and achieves sales goals for the agency to meet long-term and short-term growth goals. This includes new business appointments, cross-sell opportunities, household reviews, customer retention and profit goals.
Compensation based on Full-time Position
Pay Range $18.00 to $22.00 per hour based on prior experience
Opportunities to earn Quarterly Bonuses
Expectations at time of employment:
- Must be Property & Casualty Licensed in CA
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Determine customer needs in order to help the customer identify specific products and solutions
- Able to draw on previous customer service experience to help customers in the agency
- Solicit and sell new business policies
- Review renewal business and conduct appropriate follow up
- Conduct annual household reviews with customers
- Cross-sell/Up-sell products to existing customers
- Keep records of customer interactions and transactions completed by recording the details of inquiries, complaints, comments and actions taken
- Diffuse difficult and/or complex customer interactions in a professional manner
- Perform thorough risk analysis and field underwriting when writing new business
- Monitor claims activity to ensure a positive customer experience, as well as agency profitability
- Determine new business marketing systems based on research and analysis of competitive areas in the local market
- Monitor sales results for the agency and discuss corrective action to be implemented with the agent if goals are not met
- Coach and train staff hired in the agency
- Manage daily activities of other team members and prioritize tasks that need to be completed
- Possess the following skills: basic PC skills, basic math skills, critical thinking and conflict resolution skills, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
