Duties
- Engage with potential clients through outside sales efforts, including telemarketing and community outreach
- Conduct needs analysis to recommend appropriate insurance products and coverage options
- Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements
- Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating client records, and maintaining accurate documentation
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and guiding clients through policy selections
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies for client acquisition and retention
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other industry standards during all customer interactions
- Assist with benefits administration for existing clients, including policy renewals and updates
- Maintain thorough knowledge of insurance products, market trends, and competitive landscape to effectively advise clients
Experience
- Prior experience in outside sales, retail sales, telemarketing, or insurance sales is preferred
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to close sales effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Demonstrated analysis skills for assessing client needs and recommending suitable solutions
- Experience in sales administration or marketing is advantageous
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to customer privacy and data security is desirable
- Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment will be beneficial
