About Us:
Kelly Johnson Insurance Agency, LLC as an Agent for Farmers Insurance Group is dedicated to delivering exceptional insurance solutions and outstanding customer service to our community. We’re seeking a professional, licensed Customer Service Representative to support agents, retain clients, and help grow the book of business.
Work Hours:
- Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly, timely customer service via phone, email, and in-person.
- Handle policy inquiries, changes, renewals, cancellations, and endorsements.
- Maintain accurate client records in agency management system.
- Support claims intake and follow-up with carriers and clients.
- Cross-sell appropriate Farmers products (auto, home, life, renters, commercial).
- Coordinate appointments and assist agents with administrative tasks.
- Ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Current property & casualty (and/or life & health) insurance license for New Mexico — required.
- Prior experience in customer service, retail sales, or insurance sales is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient with agency management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Customer-focused with a professional, positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client populations.
- Previous exposure to HIPAA compliance or telemarketing roles is considered an asset.
