Agent Trainee -- multiple entry points

Are you an aspiring entrepreneur? Our program as an Agent Trainee will allow you to work with an experienced agent to learn and grow towards your goal of becoming an Insurance Agent. The Agent Trainee will be responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing client relationships.

This role involves identifying potential clients, assessing their insurance needs, and offering customized insurance solutions. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with a passion for sales and customer service.

Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

• Valid Insurance license in Property and Casualty AND Life, Health, and Accident OR willingness to get licensed
• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in the insurance industry.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

The primary responsibility of the position is to drive and grow new business revenue. You'll manage client relationships to ensure that your clients' needs and requirements are met. This will require you to serve as their advocate within Farmers to provide them with a comprehensive portfolio of solutions and options. Other exciting and fulfilling responsibilities include:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and cold calling.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Prepare and present insurance proposals to prospective clients, explaining coverage options and benefits.
• Conduct thorough assessments of client risks and recommend appropriate insurance products.
• Stay updated on industry trends, product offerings, and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with underwriters and other team members to ensure effective policy placement and service.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics
