Job Description
Farmers TexHQ District Office is looking for a self-motivated, results-driven Staff Development & Training Coordinator to take ownership of onboarding, training, and development for the staff of our Farmers Insurance Agency Owners. You will work independently to ensure new team members are confident, competent, and contributing to agency growth. Hybrid - In Office and Field Based (visiting agency offices as needed).

Responsibilities
ONBOARDNG & TRAINING
- Independently manage onboarding of new agency staff from start to finish
- Deliver engaging training sessions on Farmers Insurance systems, tools and products - both virtually and in-person.
- Customize learning paths based on agency needs and individual learning styles.
COACHING & DEVELOPMENT
- Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions focused on confident building, system usage and sales support.
- Lead small group training sessions for staff development, product refreshers, or process optimization.
- Act as a trust mentor, supporting both new and tenured agency staff.
PERFORMANCE TRACKING
- Track staff engagement, training completion and performance metrics.
- Proactively identify knowledge gaps and implement targeted coaching solutions.
- Share progress reports and insights with agency owners and District leadership team.
Requirements
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR -
- Self-starter who takes initiative and doesn't need to be micro-managed.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills in one-on-one or group settings.
- Ability to manage multiple training plans, calendars, and agency needs simultaneously.
- Familiarity with - or a quick learner of - Farmers Insurance systems and product offerings.
- Excellent time management, follow-through, and communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active General Lines Property and Casualty Texas insurance license.
- Experience in insurance, insurance sales training or team coaching.
- Background in adult learning or employee development
- Tech-savvy with tools like TEAMS, ZOOM, Microsoft Office, and CRM platforms.
