GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The primary objective of this position is to be a trusted advisor to every internal and external customer. Inspire confidence and build lasting relationships by consistently exhibiting each of the trusted advisor skills to help our customers identify and achieve their financial goals. Maintains strict confidentiality of customer and banking relationships. Also works in cooperation with other departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Answers telephone calls, greets customers and process incoming mail.
2. Prepares client correspondence and reports as needed.
3. Assists Officer with client accounts; client distributions, bill paying, fund transfers, the addition of assets to accounts, opening and closing accounts, and other administrative functions as requested by Administrator.
4. Assists in completion of new account related activities, such as account openings, preparation of account documents, CIP compliance, and various other activities.
5. Scans account documentation into Trust platform. This duty is performed daily.
6. Prepares account review packets for the trust administrative and investment committee.
7. Maintains tax control work sheet for Administrator, participates in tax return preparation process, and the timely reporting of tax information to clients.
8. Files, photocopies, scans, research, or obtains information needed by Trust clients, and Officers.
9. Accurately prepares accounting entries, receipts, and other documents.
10. Reviews transactions and adjusts as necessary.
11. Monitors account activity and consults with Officers.
12. Maintains personal tickler/system alerts and Administrator’s calendar.
13. Other duties as requested by their supervisor or other management representatives of the bank.
14. Must comply with all bank policies and procedures that are job related and/or consistent with business necessity.
Qualifications:EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of a specialized field (however acquired), such as basic accounting, computer, etc. Equivalent of four years in high school, plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school specialized training, equal to two years of college.
EXPERIENCE GENERAL
5 years related experience and/or training.
