Human Resources Intern
The Human Resources Intern will support the HR team with day-to-day tactical tasks and projects. This role provides hands-on experience in various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, HR analytics, compliance, and policy review.
JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with recruiting efforts and brining new ideas to attract talent.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR systems.
- Help track and ensure completion of required trainings and documentation.
- Conduct handbook comparisons to identify policy updates, inconsistencies, differences, and compliance gaps.
- Review current job descriptions to identify gaps, missing roles, and needed updates.
- Compile HR data and assist in building HR analytics dashboard and visual reports.
- Create HR metrics graphics for leadership review.
- Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERTISE:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
