What a Typical Day Looks Like
- Head out within a ~100-mile radius to install, remove, repair, and fine-tune commercial coffee and beverage dispensing equipment. Regional trips may occasionally pop up.
- Tackle a mix of scheduled preventive maintenance, new installations, site surveys, and urgent break-fix calls.
- Close out each job thoroughly: document the work performed, capture accurate time and parts usage, finalize invoices, and obtain all required customer signatures.
- Keep your vehicle stocked: manage spare parts and reorder within replenishment guidelines so you always have what you need.
- Team up on installsrom planning and scheduling through on-site executionensuring every detail is squared away.
- Communicate promptly and clearly with customers and internal teams, sharing feedback and requests to improve programs.
- Honor customer SLAs and juggle priorities so urgent needs are met without losing sight of scheduled work.
- Core hours: MondayFriday, 7:30 AM:30 PM
- On-call rotation required, including weekends
- Primary travel within a 100-mile radius; regional travel may be required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of mechanical/technical experience
- Preferred: background in foodservice; familiarity with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or test meters
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record and willingness to travel within a 100 mile radius
- Diagnostic mindset with strong troubleshooting skills
- Able to lift up to 60 lbs frequently
- Comfort handling both planned work and unscheduled emergencies (PMs, surveys, installs, and urgent service)
- Clear written and verbal communicator with strong customer service instincts
- Aligned with business goals; proactive in spotting issues, opportunities, and improvements
- Applies new knowledge quickly; aware of how your approach impacts customers and teammates
- Active listener who feeds useful insights back to management and cross-functional partners
- Builds rapport easily; exercises sound business judgment and decisive thinking
