Be the on-site expert customers rely on for their coffee and beverage dispensing systems. As a Commercial Coffee Brewer Installation & Repair Technician with Farmer Brothers, you’ll install, maintain, and remove equipment, respond to emergencies, and keep meticulous records—all while delivering standout service.

- Protect product quality and customer satisfaction through precise setup and preventative care.
- Serve as the face of Farmer Brothers on every call—communicating clearly and closing the loop.
- Install, start up, repair, and de-install specified commercial coffee and beverage systems.
- Complete scheduled PMs and respond to unscheduled needs: emergency service, surveys, and installations.
- Rotate through after-hours/weekend on-call to support customers when they need it most.
- Document every assignment thoroughly: call closures, work details, invoices, and required customer signatures.
- Maintain van stock and reorder parts within replenishment guidelines.
- Participate in planning, scheduling, and executing new equipment installations and rollouts.
- Provide prompt, clear communication and relay customer feedback to management and partner teams.
- Adhere to customer program SLAs and prioritize work to meet expectations.
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. standard hours.
- On-call coverage required, including weekends.
- Drive primarily within a ~100-mile radius; occasional regional travel as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years of mechanical/technical experience.
- Preferred: foodservice exposure; electrical, plumbing, HVAC experience; comfort using test meters.
- Valid driver’s license with clean MVR; ability to travel within a 100 mile radius.
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostics; able to lift up to 60 lbs frequently.
- Skilled at balancing scheduled and unscheduled work, including emergency calls, PMs, surveys, and installs.
- Professional communication—written and verbal—with a customer-first mindset.
- Support business goals with sound judgment and timely decisions.
- Spot issues and opportunities quickly; take initiative to grow the business.
- Apply new knowledge on the job; stay aware of your impact on others.
- Build rapport and trust with customers; collaborate effectively across teams.
