Farmer Brothers’ Revive™ Service & Restoration team keeps cafes, restaurants, and workplaces brewing. As a Coffee & Beverage Systems Field Service Specialist, you’ll own field installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial coffee brewers and beverage dispensing equipment for a defined customer territory. You’ll manage parts, close out service tickets with precise documentation, and communicate clearly with customers and teammates.
A day in the field- Start with your route plan and parts check, then head to customer sites within your territory.
- Install, commission, repair, and remove commercial coffee and beverage dispensing equipment.
- Handle scheduled preventive maintenance—and jump on unscheduled needs such as emergency service calls, surveys, and installs.
- Capture detailed, accurate work notes; complete call closures; finalize invoices; and secure required customer signatures.
- Replenish van stock and maintain spare parts within company guidelines.
- Share customer feedback and requests with management and cross-functional teams.
- Follow service level agreements and prioritize tasks to meet commitments.
- Support planning, scheduling, and execution for new equipment rollouts.
- Communicate promptly and clearly with customers and internal partners.
- Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- On-call rotation required, including after-hours and weekends.
- Territory driving within approximately a 100-mile radius in most markets, with occasional regional travel as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- 3 years of mechanical/technical experience (required).
- Foodservice background (preferred).
- Experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and use of test meters/multimeters (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; comfortable traveling within a 100 mile radius.
- Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills; able to lift up to 60 lbs frequently.
- Ability to balance scheduled and unscheduled work, including emergency calls, PMs, surveys, and installations.
- Clear written and verbal communication; strong customer service presence.
