Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to identify their needs and guide them through the custom design process
- Present furniture and upholstery options with confidence and professionalism
- Write up and manage custom orders accurately and efficiently
- Build long-term relationships with repeat customers through outstanding service
- Perform consistent sales follow-up tasks, including:
- Following up on quotes and design proposals
- Contacting customers after delivery to ensure satisfaction
- Maintaining a pipeline of leads and tracking open opportunities
- Sending thank-you notes and personalized check-ins to past customers
- Proactively reaching out about new collections or promotions
- Maintain current knowledge of product lines, trends, and lead times
- Collaborate with the store manager and design team on displays and showroom layouts
- Achieve and exceed personal and store sales goals
- Minimum 2 years of experience in furniture sales, interior design, or related field
- Strong knowledge of custom furniture brands and construction details
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Comfortable working with design tools and order systems
