Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Paver Estimator – Commercial & Residential, located in Palm Desert, CA, with the flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Paver Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial and residential projects. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing construction plans, collecting relevant project details, communicating with clients and contractors, budgeting, sourcing materials, and assisting in project planning. The role requires effective collaboration with internal teams, external clients, and vendors to deliver successful project bids.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Construction Estimating and experience with creating detailed and accurate cost assessments
- Strong Communication skills, including the ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders effectively
- Experience with Budgeting processes to ensure project cost-efficiency
- Knowledge of technical aspects related to Pavers, Roofs, and related construction projects
- Project Management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables
- Familiarity with industry standards, local building codes, and stormwater management systems is an asset
- Relevant educational background or certifications in construction, estimating, or project management
- Proficiency with estimating software and tools is highly desirable, especially with Microsoft Office; specifically Excel spreadsheets.
Salary : $50,000 - $85,000
