Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This position requires a strong understanding of route driving, vehicle operation, and adherence to safety regulations. Candidates with experience in operating different types of trucks, including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, and tankers, are highly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate and drive assigned trucks to transport materials and goods to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck both inside and out.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required. MUST HAVE 3 YEARS OF CDL EXPERIENCE!
- Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving techniques.
- Ability to load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
