Duties

• Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS system, ensuring timely and correct delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, adhering to food handling, sanitation, and safety standards
• Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering duties with precision and accountability
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards
• Utilize reservation management system to coordinate seating arrangements and reduce wait times

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems; experience with Square is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally
• Culinary experience or background in food preparation is highly desirable
• Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy hours
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing, and order accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience is advantageous; familiarity with food industry standards is essential
