Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional Educator to join our team at Faribault Lutheran School. In this role, you will support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality education to our students while fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
• Support students with special needs and help them achieve their learning goals.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student engagement.
• Monitor student behavior and implement behavior management strategies as needed.
• Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to reinforce literacy and math skills.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members regarding student progress.

Requirements

• Experience or education in childhood development or related field is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students and staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of literacy education practices is highly desirable.
• Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
