Job Summary
Far Out Hospitality is seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Greeter/Host at Tavern, one of our premier restaurants located in Fort Worth, Texas. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and positive dining experience.
Duties
- Greet guests with a friendly smile and positive attitude upon arrival, making them feel immediately welcomed.
- Manage guest check-in procedures efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to record reservations and walk-in arrivals.
- Direct guests to their tables or designated areas while providing helpful information about the venue’s offerings.
- Answer guest inquiries via phone or in person with clear communication and professional phone etiquette.
- Coordinate with restaurant staff and management to ensure smooth seating flow and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the greeting area, ensuring a polished appearance at all times.
- Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, enhancing overall guest experience.
Skills
- Previous host/hostess experience or background in food service and hospitality environments.
- Strong customer service skills with a genuine desire to create positive interactions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred.
- Experience in hotel or guest services roles is a plus, demonstrating adaptability across hospitality settings.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor under pressure.

Pay: $500.00 - $1,000.00 per week
