Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED, Post high school training or Bachelor's in accounting/finance preferred but not required
- Ability to operate computers and various computer systems.
- Bookkeeping skills, basic office skills (keyboarding, filing, etc.)
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Performance Responsibilities
- Perform any bookkeeping tasks associated with the school. Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare the preliminary annual budget with the Principal and other designated personnel.
- Coordinate with the Principal to ensure revenues and expenses are accurate and categorized correctly.
- Reconcile and balance bank statements monthly.
- Work closely with the Director of Finance and Finance Coordinator on audits.
- Participate in in-service training and attend professional meetings as necessary.
- Cooperate with others and help to make the office a pleasant place to work.
- Prepare and print monthly financial reports. Review reports for accuracy and make corrections as necessary.
- Receive, process, and record monies collected from students and events.
- Follow the FCSS guidelines for School Activity Funds.
- Assist faculty / staff, students and parents in the office.
- Answer phones and relay messages
- Ability to learn and effectively use software programs such as Microsoft office, Excel, Frontline, and Google.
- Monitor entry to the school and initiate lockdown if needed
- Maintain confidentiality
- Prepare invoices for payment and complete required reports for review prior to checks being written.
- Process school purchase orders.
- Perform any other duties as requested by the Director or designee.
- Demonstrates prompt and in-person attendance.
