Position Summary:
This position is responsible for completing tasks in the warehouse related to receiving, stocking, and shipping of the Company’s products.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Picking product for parcel/small package shipments
- Packing, creating shipment labels, and labeling parcel/small carrier shipments
- Picking /packing product for palletized shipments
- Restocks product in the pick and parts aisles, as needed
- Unloads containers and stocks receives products.
- Restocks and boxes returned goods
- Scraps unusable product(s) as appropriate
- Assists with modifications of products, as needed
- Receives deliveries and makes entries in receiving log for items received and delivers them to the appropriate location
- Helps keep work areas and warehouse clean and organized
- Perform cycle counts for inventory accuracy
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in stocking, shipping, and receiving is desired
- Experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
- Computer software skills required include Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
- Ability to operate a printer, copy machine, scanner and other office equipment is desired
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management system preferred
- Ability to adapt and conform to shifting priorities and demands and execute accordingly
- Ability to pay close attention to detail is essential
Education / Certifications Required:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Fork truck certification is desired
