Role Overview
The Operations Analyst for Memorabilia Operations supports financial planning, reporting, and analysis for the retail business. This role partners closely with Memorabilia Operations, Merchandising, and Finance teams to deliver insights that drive performance, profitability, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to grow their understanding of retail and fulfillment financials in a collaborative environment.

Role Overview

How You Will Make An Impact
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting processes by gathering inputs, validating data, and ensuring accuracy.
- Assist with month-end close activities to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain and update financial models and templates, including labor and operating expense models.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare recurring reports that highlight trends, variances, and performance drivers.
- Provide financial support to operations teams, including basic financial training and analysis.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to evaluate new initiatives, promotions, pricing strategies, and operational changes.
- Track and monitor capital expenditures and technology budgets, including ownership of Miramar CapEx budgeting and forecasting.
- Support fulfillment center (FC) labor planning through weekly processes and monthly reporting.
- Maintain and improve reports, scorecards, and data sources to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related role; experience supporting retail, fulfillment, or technology operations preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of accounting fundamentals and financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset suited for a fast-paced environment.
