We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure all assigned areas are cleaned, sanitized, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain 16 bathrooms daily, including:
- Toilets, sinks, mirrors, and partitions
- Restocking soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Emptying trash
- Perform deep cleaning duties as scheduled:
- Scrubbing tile and grout
- Floor stripping, waxing, and buffing
- Carpet cleaning
- High dusting and vent cleaning
- Clean and sanitize kitchen and breakroom areas, including:
- Countertops and tables
- Sinks and appliances
- Microwaves and refrigerators (interior and exterior)
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Empty trash and recycling throughout the facility
- Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
- Follow safety procedures and proper chemical handling guidelines
- Report maintenance or repair issues to management
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred
- Ability to handle physical workload (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods)
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs
- Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals
- Full-time
