This role ensures compliance with all USDA and state regulations while delivering high-quality, safe, and accessible meal services that support youth and families.

Position Summary
The Summer Food Program Coordinator leads the planning and daily operations of the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) across ~45 sites in Georgia and South Carolina. This role ensures compliance with all USDA and state regulations while delivering high-quality, safe, and accessible meal services that support youth and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee multi-site SFSP operations, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
- Maintain accurate records (meal counts, logs, site documentation) and support audits/reviews
- Conduct required site monitoring visits and serve as primary compliance contact
- Lead food safety efforts, ensuring ServSafe standards across all locations
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise 50 seasonal staff/volunteers
- Coordinate logistics including meal production, delivery routes, inventory, and supply distribution
- Build partnerships with community organizations and support program outreach
Required:
- ServSafe Kitchen Manager Certification
- Experience managing multi-site operations (food service, logistics, or programs)
- Strong knowledge of food safety and compliance standards
- Excellent organization and documentation skills
- Ability to travel frequently (GA & SC)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Successful background and MVR check
- SFSP experience
- Multi-site supervision experience
- Background in nonprofit, youth services, or community programs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Standing for extended periods; fast-paced, high-energy environment
