Marketing Intern – Family Wellness (Fargo, ND)
Internship | Part-time (approx. 20 hrs/week) | $15.50–$17.35/hr
About the Role
Family Wellness is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join our team for the 2026–2027 academic year, with the potential for summer hours based on performance and organizational needs.
Working alongside our Marketing & Communications Manager, you'll gain hands-on experience promoting wellness-focused programs, events, and services across social media, print, email, and digital platforms. This is a chance to build a real portfolio while learning how strategic marketing works inside a mission-driven organization.
What You'll Do
• Plan, schedule, and create social media content that fits our brand's tone and voice
• Help develop and distribute marketing materials, including flyers, newsletters, and internal and digital signage
• Support website updates so program, class, and event information stays current and accurate
• Assist with community and member outreach projects
• Ensure all communications follow brand standards and style guidelines
• Take on other projects as assigned
What We're Looking For
• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Relations, or a related field
• Strong writing, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a sharp eye for detail
• A high level of creativity and a positive contribution to a fun, professional, energetic team
Preferred Skills
• Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• WordPress and Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) and scheduling tools
Schedule
Roughly 20 hours per week, with flexible hours built around your class schedule.
