What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Experience Coordinator position at Family Tree Chiropractic?
Patient Experience Coordinator Position
Are you looking for more than your next job?
What if your next position allowed you to
- master valuable skills
- take ownership of meaningful results
- advance your career within a growing and expanding organization
- make a measurable difference in your community's health
At Family Tree Chiropractic, we aren't looking for someone to simply sit at the front desk. We're looking for an A-player who wants to take ownership, become exceptional at what they do, and build a long-term career with a growing healthcare organization. What is an A-player?
- A-players pay extremely close attention to details and make sure all i's are dotted and all t's are crossed.
- A-players strive to get the job done right the first time, instead of wasting time redoing work.
- A-players find ways to solve problems, instead of looking for someone else to solve them.
- A-players are creative and work well as a team.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You may be a great fit if you:
- genuinely love helping and connecting with people.
- are warm, energetic, and confident on the phone and in person.
- are extremely organized and notice details others miss.
- enjoy working with numbers and ensuring accuracy.
- follow through without needing to be constantly reminded.
- can handle several responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while staying calm and focused.
- like having clear goals and knowing whether you're winning.
- want feedback, coaching, and opportunities to improve.
- celebrate the success of your teammates rather than competing with them.
- see a problem and naturally start looking for the solution.
- are comfortable and excited with learning and using new technology.
- want a career where increased skill and responsibility create growth opportunities.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
You'll be trained to take ownership of three important systems in our practice.
1. New Patient Experience
- You'll help create an incredible first impression from the moment a new patient contacts us.
- You'll help patients feel heard, cared for, prepared, and excited about their first visit through excellent communication, scheduling, confirmations, reminders, paperwork, and follow-up.
- Your goal isn't simply to schedule an appointment. Your goal is to help the patient confidently KEEP that appointment.
2. Established Patient Experience
- Once someone becomes a patient, you'll help them successfully follow the care plan they've committed to.
- You'll protect the schedule, help patients make and keep their appointments, proactively solve scheduling problems, communicate clearly, and help create an experience where patients think: "This is my healthcare home."
- You won't just manage a calendar. You'll help build a healthy, productive schedule and protect the patient's momentum toward their health goals.
3. Financial & Billing
- You'll help ensure the financial side of the patient experience is accurate, organized, and healthy.
- This can include patient accounts, payment agreements, insurance/billing workflows, collections, account follow-up, and maintaining clean financial records.
- Your goal isn't simply "doing billing." Your goal is helping ensure the care we deliver gets collected accurately and efficiently.
