JOB SUMMARY:
The Director, Education is an ambassador of the Agency mission and for the service delivery framework aligned with the Social Determinants of Health through a trauma informed lens. The Director, Education is responsible for the administration and management of the assigned program area(s), and is the key leadership liaison with direct service staff, stakeholders, and agency’s senior leadership team. The Director, Education is responsible for delivery of all contracts and corresponding deliverables in the assigned area or areas of responsibility. The Director, Education is also responsible for overall oversight and monitoring of day-to-day operations, and providing leadership and mentoring of staff to ensure the on-going relevancy of services and that service recipients receive culturally-relevant services that are customer service friendly, based on successful practices, efficiently delivered with measurable outcomes and operations are aligned with the Agency’s Balanced Scorecard.

Education/Training/Experience:
1. Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred, in education, health, social work, or other related human service field and five (5) years experience.
2. Previous experience working in the non-profit human services environment to include low-income, minority, multi-problem families required.
3. Five (5) years previous experience in directing/supervising staff and contracts in the achievement of agency and stakeholder goals.
4. Fluent in English and Spanish (read, write, and speak) desirable.
5. Staff will be required to submit proof of their vaccination status or may request to be exempt from vaccination due to a religious and/or medical accommodation.
6. Certificate or license, as applicable, by the appropriate State agency as a qualified practitioner.

The agency’s hours of operation are extended and non-traditional, and may vary based on office location and/dor stakeholder requirements. Employees are asked to work the schedule that is best suited to the achievement of deliverables and stakeholder requirements based on the agency’s posted business hours, or as required by stakeholder and contractual requirements. Employees who work in an exempt position are paid on a salaried basis and are not entitled to overtime pay. The amount of salary is intended to compensate the employee for all hours worked to perform the required job.
