Part-time Monday thru Friday 5:30 AM to 11:00 AM (max 28 hours per week.)
$14.50 per hour to start $15.00 after 90 days
Position: Kitchen Worker
Responsible to: Director of Nutrition
PREREQUISITES:
Must have a high school diploma or GED. Must be at least 18 years of age.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be organized with good record keeping skills.
2. Must be able to work independently.
3. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
4. Must have knowledge of local Health Regulations and Procedures.
5. Must have basic knowledge of food preparation and serving techniques.
6. Must maintain Food Handler’s card.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
1. Assists in meal preparation following health regulations.
2. Responsible for seeing that the site is clean, neat, and as comfortable and safe environment.
3. Responsible to ensure that health and sanitation regulations are met.
4. Responsible for ensuring that the equipment of the site is operable and safe.
5. Responsible for preparation and clean-up.
6. Attend training/meetings as required.
7. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Nutrition.
OTHER SKILLS
Computer skills, telephone etiquette, and communication techniques.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time. Must be able to walk, climb stairs, and bend. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
