One of the things that makes Family Service unique is the breadth of clinical experience available. Depending on your interests, experience, and caseload, you may have opportunities to provide individual, group, family, and marital counseling and work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns.
You also won't be working alone. Our clinicians are part of a broader behavioral health team that includes our Psychology Department, care coordination/case management, and interpretation services. This collaborative approach gives providers opportunities to consult with colleagues, learn from other disciplines, and connect clients with additional supports when needed.
Clinicians at all stages of their careers are encouraged to apply. LMSWs working toward their LCSW receive clinical supervision to support credential advancement and licensure. Experienced LCSWs, LMHCs, and LMFTs may have opportunities to provide clinical supervision, mentor developing clinicians, and take on additional clinical responsibilities.
This position offers flexible scheduling and a hybrid work environment, including telehealth and work-from-home options. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and identify client needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor client progress.
- Provide individual, group, family, and/or marital counseling as appropriate to your experience and caseload.
- Build therapeutic relationships and provide person-centered, trauma-informed care.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and complete clinical documentation.
- Coordinate care and connect clients with appropriate community resources when needed.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and other providers as appropriate.
- Work as part of a team to support clients' mental health and social needs.
- Participate in clinical consultation, staff meetings, and professional development activities.

Qualifications
- New York State license as an LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, or LMFT, or a NYS limited permit to practice Marriage and Family Therapy.
- Experience in a community mental health setting preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults preferred.
- Additional training or experience in trauma, child and family therapy, anxiety, and/or depression is a plus.
- New York State driver's license.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
