SUMMARY
Responsible for providing psychotherapy in the form of individual, group, or family therapy under the supervision of the Family Based Clinic Director/Clinical Supervisor. This position will also provide psycho-education, coordination of treatment for their assigned caseload, make necessary referrals to support the consumers, and will provide services in a manner in which to support a whole health recovery approach to treatment.
Family-Based Mental Health Services are designed to keep kids safe and living at home while helping parents/caregivers develop skills to help their children manage moods and behaviors
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma plus 12 college semester hours in humanities or social services, or High School Diploma with 6 months of formal mental health training; or
- Bachelor’s degree in a human service–related field
- High School Diploma with 7 years of mental health experience, or Bachelor’s degree in a human service–related field with 3 years of mental health experience
- Plus:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a CASSP system program
- Must be enrolled for certification by OMH as a Mental Health Family Based Worker

About Us
