Full-Time Support Staff, Therapeutic Preschool
Family Resources Therapeutic Preschool is seeking a compassionate, dependable Full-Time Support Staff to join our team.

Our Therapeutic Preschool serves children ages 3-5 who may have experienced trauma or who have developmental, communication, behavioral, or special education needs, including Autism. Our program is rooted in trauma-informed, relationship-based care. We pride ourselves on being a supportive, collaborative workplace where every team member makes a meaningful impact.

Monday through Friday
9:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Position Overview
Support Staff play a vital role in maintaining a safe, nurturing, and structured preschool environment throughout the school day. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with young children, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and helping children build the skills they need to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Support the preschool teaching team in meeting a wide range of student needs, learning styles, and behaviors
- Assist with daily classroom routines, including snack and lunch, toileting, diapering, dismissal, transitions, and outdoor play
- Ensure children are actively supervised and safe at all times
- Build positive, trusting relationships with children through a trauma-informed approach
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and therapeutic learning environment
- Assist with accurate and safe dismissal of children to approved caregivers
- Support classroom activities, play, and learning experiences throughout the day
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and leadership to provide high-quality care and education
Qualifications
Applicants must meet one of the following qualifications:
- High school diploma and 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, human services, or a related field
- High school diploma and 15 credit hours in a related field plus one year of verified experience working with children
- High school diploma and two years of verified experience working with children
