Qualifications:

• Education Required: Open.
• Education Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
• Experience Required: 3 years related management experience, OR equivalent education & related work experience.
• Experience Preferred: Experience with grant writing/monitoring. 
• A valid driver’s license in good standing and a vehicle with appropriate auto insurance are required. Must be able to pass the motor vehicle record background check.

Position Specifics

• Typically reflecting a 32-hour work week.
• Position Hours: Weekdays 8:30 am-5:00 pm with some occasional evenings and events 
• Full-time position 
• Salaried exempt position 
• Salaried position a $61,800.00 annually
• Comprehensive benefits are offered 
• Participating in a rotating on-call schedule is required.

Position Details

The Supervisor – Illinois Other Violence Crimes will manage the  Community Violence - Illinois program and serve as an agent for social change in the contracted region. The Supervisor will have some level of involvement and supervision in the following areas: governance, leadership, community relations, program management, financial management, grant writing, and personnel management. This position is responsible for the program’s goals and measures and will work collectively across the agency to meet outcomes. This position will be responsible for supervising all line staff in the following counties: Rock Island, Henry, and Mercer Counties. They will serve as an on-call supervisor in coordination with Survivor Services. This position requires reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance. These responsibilities are carried out under the direction of the Director - Community Violence Intervention. This position requires a flexible schedule that may include working nights, weekends, and holidays.
