Homeless Crisis Response Program Case Aide
Family Promise of Warren County is dedicated to helping families experiencing homelessness achieve sustainable independence through shelter, housing solutions, and supportive services.
We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and driven Homeless Crisis Response Program Case Aide to support individuals and families experiencing housing instability. In this role, you will assess client needs, determine eligibility for Rapid Re-Housing (RRH), Homelessness Prevention (HP), or shelter programs, and guide clients toward stable, long-term housing. This position requires strong relationship-building skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex situations with empathy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial point of contact for individuals seeking housing assistance
- Build rapport with clients and assess eligibility using established protocol
- Guide clients through obtaining documentation and eligibility verification
- Maintain accurate case notes
- Collaborate with team members and connect clients to community resources
- Provide referrals for individuals not eligible for services
- Participate in required trainings and meetings
- Respond to daily calls regarding housing crises and assess needs
- Assist with transportation coordination and serve as a backup driver when needed
- Support general operations, including meeting setup and minor facility needs
Qualifications
- Preferred degree in social work, human services, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness/housing instability preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of community resources and housing programs is preferred
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and valid car insurance required

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
