Family Preservation Community Services (FPCS) was founded in 1997. FPCS provides a variety of social services and therapies to children, adults, and families. We are located in North Carolina and South Carolina and have a long history of providing quality foster care and therapy in our market.
Family Preservation Community Services seeks a licensing coordinator.
Responsibilities include:
The Licensing Coordinator is an important part of our Agency and the community at large. The Licensing Coordinator recruits and trains families to become foster parents. The Licensing Coordinator must be extremely organized and have the ability to easily build rapport to make the families feel comfortable during the licensing process. The Licensing Coordinator must be a good trainer and have charisma to help the families stay motivated throughout the long and very personal process. The Licensing Coordinator must have marketing skills to recruit through social media, community events and word of mouth from other foster families. The Licensing Coordinator must have the ability to meet numerous deadlines including submitting family homestudy within 60 days to the State. The Licensing Coordinator must have a flexible schedule to meet with potential families. The Licensing Coordinator must have the ability to multitask and change directions quickly as each family unit will be in a different section of the licensing process.
Requirements include:
- bachelor's degree in social services with 1 year experience in the field (NC regulation requirement cannot be waived)
- excellent multi tasking skills
- ability to train and present in a consistent manner.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,600.00 - $40,000.00 per year
