Pharmacist (PIC)

Family Pharmacy has been an independent retail pharmacy in Southeast Texas since 1979, dedicated to providing exceptional service to its community. We are seeking a full-time Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to join our team at Family Pharmacy in Beaumont, TX. This is an on-site position requiring hands-on, day-to-day management of pharmacy operations. Responsibilities include reviewing and dispensing prescriptions, overseeing pharmacy staff, maintaining compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations, and providing exceptional patient care. The PIC also ensures accurate prescription processing, manages inventory, implements policies, and actively engages with customers to address their healthcare needs.

• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, including prescription dispensing, medication review, and dosage management.
• Leadership and team management skills to oversee pharmacy staff and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging customers and addressing their healthcare concerns.
• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to manage inventory, resolve discrepancies, and maintain operational efficiency.
• Active pharmacist license in the state of Texas, in good standing with relevant regulatory bodies.
• Bachelor’s degree (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an accredited institution.
• Experience in independent or retail pharmacy settings is highly preferred.
