Family Pet Hospital is seeking a dependable, animal-loving Kennel Technician to join our team! This role focuses on the care of boarding petsensuring their comfort, safety, and cleanliness during their stay. Schedule:
- Weekends: Saturday & Sunday, 6:30am-8:30am and 6pm-8pm
- Weekday Evenings: Some shifts from 6:00pm 8:00pm
- Optional Weekday Mornings: Additional hours available if desired
- Holidays: Required
Compensation**
- $13.50-$14.50 per hour for each hour worked*
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive care to boarding dogs and cats
- Feed, walk, and monitor pets for health and behavior changes
- Clean kennels and hospital areas as needed
- Maintain a safe and sanitary environment
- Work independently and responsibly
Requirements:
- Comfortable and confident handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments
- Trustworthy and able to work unsupervised
- Reliable transportation is a must
- Prior experience is a plus, but not required
