Kennel Assistant

Family Pet Hospital is seeking a dependable, animal-loving Kennel Technician to join our team! This role focuses on the care of boarding pets—ensuring their comfort, safety, and cleanliness during their stay. Schedule:

• Weekends: Saturday & Sunday, 6:30am-8:30am and 6pm-8pm
• Weekday Evenings: Some shifts from 6:00pm– 8:00pm
• Optional Weekday Mornings: Additional hours available if desired
• Holidays: Required

Compensation**

• $13.50-$14.50 per hour for each hour worked*

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive care to boarding dogs and cats
• Feed, walk, and monitor pets for health and behavior changes
• Clean kennels and hospital areas as needed
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment
• Work independently and responsibly

Requirements:

• Comfortable and confident handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments
• Trustworthy and able to work unsupervised
• Reliable transportation is a must
• Prior experience is a plus, but not required
