We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment to ensure smooth operations.
Maintenance Assistant Requirements:
- Experience in simple plumbing, electrical, and painting jobs is required
- MUST be able to communicate in English proficiently.
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance preferred
- Familiarity with Ohmmeter usage for electrical diagnostics
- Strong leadership skills to guide maintenance tasks effectively
- Ability to interpret schematics and work with logic controllers
Maintenance Assistant Duties:
- Overall plant operations, including interior and exterior maintenance
- Electrical/plumbing work
- Light construction
- Appliance installation
- Drywall patch/paint
- Coordinate scheduled service from outside vendors
- Weld and fabricate metal structures as needed
- Utilize Ohmmeter for electrical testing
- Provide leadership in executing maintenance tasks
- Conduct facilities maintenance including repairs and inspections
- Interpret schematics and work with logic controllers
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues
